Linfield head of youth Glenn Ferguson shared the following with Linfieldfc.com

“I am delighted to announce that Linfield Boys’ Academy have agreed a partnership with Bloomfield Football Club. We have been having discussions and meetings with the Bloomfield chairman and coaches over the last few months to discuss what we can do to help each other. Both clubs have a way forward and we are looking forward to inviting Bloomfield FC teams to take part in friendly games, training sessions and sharing ideas to help develop all ages of players and also to help with coaching sessions to help the coaches as well. We have had some of the young players over to New Midgley Park to have a look round and they were delighted to meet and have their photos taken with David Healy, Jamie Mulgrew and Kirk Millar. We will also be inviting players, coaches and parents to various homes games starting next Friday night when we will have 20 adults and 20 kids for the Crusaders game and we will continue to grow this over the course of next season”.

Below, the chairman of Bloomfield FC expresses his delight about the new partnership.

“The Committee of Bloomfield FC is delighted to be partnered with Linfield FC. Everyone at the Club is excited to make this partnership between our Boys’ Sections a success and we look forward to working closely with Glenn and his team of coaches going forward. Bloomfield FC wish to place on record our thanks to Glenn and the Linfield Committee for the opportunity to improve our Club.”

Dee Carroll
Bloomfield FC Chairman.
