Dane McCullough comes from a family of fine footballing pedigree

New Linfield signing Dane McCullough (previously with Burnley) has strong family ties with Linfield.
His father Neil played for Linfield Swifts in the 1990s as a centre-half and is a well-known football personality in Portadown where the family live.
Dane's father Neil is a cousin of Gary and Dean McCullough.
Gary, a winger, won an Irish League winners' medal with Linfield in the late 1980s in a two-season career at Windsor Park under manager Roy Coyle, and went on to play and coach at Portadown.
Gary’s brother Dean, was a stalwart right-back for Glenavon over many years in the 1980s/1990s.
Dane’s second cousin Luke is a Glentoran defender.
