Recent pleasing and hard fought Premiership wins against Glentoran (2-0), Carrick Rangers (2-1) and Cliftonville (1-0) have maintained Linfield's position at the top of the Premiership table. While it's far too early in the season for anyone to be getting carried away, hopefully recent positive results and performances can breed confidence and build momentum, as the club approaches further vitally important games today and in the weeks ahead.

A warm welcome to Windsor Park to the players, management, staff, directors and supporters of Loughgall FC for today's vitally important Premiership game. The newly promoted County Armagh club have won five, drawn three and lost five of their 13 Premiership games to date and having won at home to Larne and drawn away at Crusaders and Cliftonville, their challenge cannot be underestimated today. Two Jack Scott goals gave Linfield a 2-0 win in the Premiership game at Lakeview Park earlier this season.

Linfield have been drawn away to Glentoran in the second round of the BetMcLean Cup, with the game due to take place at the Oval on Tuesday November 7.

Dane McCullough has signed for Linfield until the end of the season. 19 year old defender Dane was out of contract, having previously played for Portadown and Burnley.

The club's recent appeal to the IFA disciplinary committee was not successful and as a result, Daniel Finlayson will miss the second game in his five game suspension today.

The Matthew Clarke Testimonial season is well underway and supporters are encouraged to support the various fundraising efforts which are being arranged over the course of the season. A successful gala dinner was held at the Europa Hotel in mid-October, featuring former Rangers' players, Gordon Smith and Charlie Miller.

Linfield manager David Healy celebrated his 8th anniversary in charge of the team with the recent 2-1 win away against Carrick Rangers. David has led Linfield to ten trophy successes in the past eight years.

Two more Linfield Premiership games are to be broadcast live by BBC. The games are a 5-30pm kick off at home to Larne on Saturday November 11 and the away game against Glentoran which has been brought forward to Friday December 1.

Online match tickets for all home games until the end of 2023 can be bought from the online ticketing section of the club website. Season ticket renewals in the various categories can also be processed online.

The red Linfield away shirt worn in Loughgall and Coleraine will also be worn at next week's game in Newry.

Former Linfield manager David Jeffrey who celebrates his birthday today, is the special guest of the Forever Blues group before today's game.

An on pitch act of remembrance will take place prior to the home Premiership game against Larne on Saturday November 11. The annual remembrance service in the club office will take place prior to today's game.

Representatives of the Belmont and 1st Newtownabbey LSCs will present their player of the year trophies before today's game.

Appreciation is extended to York Star LSC for their kind and generous sponsorship of this issue of 'Look at Linfield'. Other supporters clubs wishing to sponsor future issues are asked to contact the editor via siteeditor@linfieldfc.com
