Linfield won this morning’s behind closed doors training game 3-1 against the champions of Gibraltar, Lincoln Red Imps, as both teams continued preparations for their upcoming European 1st round qualifying fixtures.
Liam McStravick gave Linfield the lead on the stroke of half time and Rhys Annett doubled the advantage with a clinical finish on 50 minutes.
Annett added his second and Linfield’s third goal in the 65th minute before the champions of Gibraltar reduced the deficit with a consolation goal after 72 minutes.
The entire team was changed at half time and the second half line-up was - Johns, Scott, Newberry, Hall, Shields, Millar, Mulgrew, Robertson, Fitzpatrick, Annett and Cooper
