Linfield F.C. is delighted that the match sponsor of Monday’s Premiership home game against Coleraine will be club associate sponsor - Porter and Co wine merchants who are based in Adelaide in South Australia.
Hamish Kennedy has ancestral Ulster-Scots ties with both Northern Ireland and Ayrshire in the west of Scotland and he’s been keen to show his support for Linfield FC.
Several years ago he took out a Linfield season ticket and he soon followed this up with a ball sponsorship package.
He agreed a deal to sponsor the Match ball in the Linfield v Coleraine game for three seasons starting with a Windsor Park game several years ago.
He then agreed a further five year deal to act as an associate sponsor with the club.
This financial contribution helped fund the club’s preseason training camp in Spain which greatly assisted the club with preparations for the UEFA Champions / Europa League campaign several years ago.
