Lisburn 1st Blue Linfield Supporters’ Club held another very successful Player of the Year event on Saturday past, after the away trip to Loughgall.
The 2022/23 POTY trophy was awarded to Sam Roscoe and accepted on the night for him by club captain, Jamie Mulgrew.
The 2022/23 YPOTY award was won by Daniel Finlayson. Daniel was intending on being at the event, but due to the injury sustained during Saturday’s match, was unable to attend. However, our Young members filled in perfectly and accepted the award on his behalf.
The final award of the night went to Matthew Clarke, who accepted his testimonial award for 10 fantastic years service at Linfield FC.
Also present on the evening were David Walsh and former players, Noel Bailie MBE, Eric Bowyer, Alan Fraser, Michael Gault and Chris Kingsberry, along with other Linfield officials.
The Lisburn club would like to thank everyone who attended on the evening, which is now becoming a popular annual event in the Linfield calendar and congratulations to all winners! AFJ
